Similar horrible experience…
Similar experience to everything stated here. I ordered a dining set that was stated online as in stock. PB immediately charged my credit card in full while 2 chairs were back ordered and the entire order delivery delayed again and again. There was no email follow up after the initial purchase confirmation with “fake” expected delivery dates. I had to repeatedly track the delays online. Horrendously bad customer service. I came here, read the awful reviews and after getting bounced around with customer service was able to finally cancel my order and get a full refund. The secret for me was very nicely basically saying I didn’t want to have to sic my credit union & Visa on Pottery Barn. Or maybe I just got lucky. Back to Macy’s for their exceptional white glove furniture delivery and amazing customer service. What was I thinking??

Catalina bunk beds. No hardware 60 days on the floor unassembled
Ordered white glove. Said was available. 5 weeks for deliver. Came without hardware. None available. Ordered another set. No clue when that comes. Hope to refund the one unassembled that is lying on the floor. Grandkids just sleep on mattresses on the floor

Avoid ordering anything from PB!
Ordered curtain rod from PB, returned via shipping label they sent me....charged me $30+ to do this and NEVER said anywhere there was a charge for sending back or would have returned to local PB....this company is such a rip off on pricing anyway, been saying that for years....waaaayy overpriced, finally learned my lesson.....avoid PB at all costs!

Wedding Registry - Bad Customer Service
I purchased a gift off a Pottery Barn wedding registry. A couple days later the gift was reduced in price from $189 to $141 while in transit. I requested that Pottery Barn credit my Pottery Barn Credit card the difference. My request was declined and was given no other options since its a wedding gift. All other retailers will price match their own price reductions in cases like this. We have spent way too much money at Pottery Barn for this subpar customer service. Not anymore.

Potter Barn Delivery nightmare and it was $$$$
I paid $350 for delivery of 5 items, I received 4 of the 5. I had to make several calls for Pottery Barn's mistake and after a month a customer service rep placed a new order. Then I got a notification at 4pm that they would be delivering the next next day but I wasn't available. The delivery service never contacted after that to schedule when I was available. Impossible. If you can't take what you're buying from Pottery Barn, don't buy it. Their delivery service vendors don't care and it wasn't a cheap delivery, $350 isn't cheap in my world. I paid for the product in February and it's the end of June. I was able to get a refund but the time I spent jumping through hoops was a nightmare and I would not want that experience again. Dealing with Pottery Barn was frustrating and time consuming plus they only delivered 80% of my order.

Had a delivery scheduled today
Had a delivery scheduled today, something happened with the truck and NO update. Said one would be given 2 hrs ago and no. Called just to be hung up on because the guys voicemail was full. Seriously??!! Just the run around. Go somewhere else, no one at this company gives a sh**.

I ordered kitchen cabinet drawer pulls
I ordered kitchen cabinet drawer pulls. When I tracked the package - it says it was delivered. However, I never received the package - not sure if it was left at the wrong address or didn’t make it out of the truck after being scanned. I called Pottery Barn customer service 3 different times explaining I did not receive the package (after paying for shipping) and was told there was nothing they could do since it showed as being delivered and I’d have to file a claim with UPS. I tried to file claim with UPS, but was not able to since UPS left it at local post office to be delivered. I filed a claim with the USPS and still Pottery Barn will not refund my money or send out to items since the tracking scan shows the package as delivered. I am furious and will NEVER shop here again. I paid for items that I ne we received and paid for shipping to never receive them. Pottery Barn should be filing the claim against the shipper and insure their items are received by the customers that pay fir them.

Terrible experience
Our terrible experience with pottery barn started several months ago when we ordered two large shelves from them. When the order arrived, we received one shelf and one very large outdoor lounge chair cushion. I called them because they shipped us an entirely incorrect item, rather than the second shelf. They said they would ship out the correct shelf to us. We wait weeks and nothing arrives. We call customer service again and they say they wont ship the shelf until we ship back the large outdoor lounge cushion. I told them it is a very large box, and I'm unable to transport it to a shipping facility. The agent was extremely rude and basically told me to figure it out. I was very upset because this was THEIR mistake. They shipped the completely incorrect item to me, they should be rectifying it rather than holding my correct purchase hostage until I correct their mistake. Fast forward several months and we decide to order an outdoor dining table and chairs from them (I should have learned my lesson the first time). We specifically filtered on their site by "In stock and ready to ship" because we wanted the items in time for my daughters 1st birthday party. Well, every time we check, the delivery date keeps getting pushed out. We're now at the point where the delivery date is ~3 months after it originally said it would be delivered. We call customer service and they say they'll expedite what they can. Yesterday, we receive the cushion covers to the chairs (still no actual furniture) and the covers are the wrong color, they are not the color we ordered. We are just extremely frustrated with Pottery Barn. For how expensive their products are, I'd expect stellar delivery and customer experience. We recently ordered a dining room table from Restoration Hardware and had a very positive experience with them. We will be cancelled our order with Pottery Barn and going through RH for all our furniture needs in the future.

Manufactures defect that resulted in chairs and table blowing out within 2 years
I will never buy from these guys again. Concrete table was discolored the first year we bought it and within 2 it started to pock. Now it looks like a concrete floor that has been salted for years and one chair split right at the top. Not what you would expect from a $3500 set of outdoor furniture and SC would not do anything. well, they offered a 10% off a new chair lol.

Bill and hasn’t even shipped
I would like to know if it is the practice of businesses to send a credit card bill for an item when they haven’t even shipped it yet? I think this is terrible.

Pierce sectional severe pilling on cushions, need to find out what can be done. This is a second home and only gets used about 10 weeks a year.

We have the same problem. Our couch is two years old and we will need to replace it this year. Back Cushions are rumpled and seat cushions have a ton of little piling.

Is Pottery Barn getting ready to go under? Extreme difficulty getting furniture that has been ordered in JULY, has been PAID FOR IN FULL and I have been told it is lost and have to wait until the end of November and then MAYBE it will be here. I was never called or notified about any of this; I have been doing the research and calling. This is consumer fraud.

This is standard operations now. They attempted to steal almost $1500 from me. I recommend using the BBB for your area. That is the only way I got a response even though it didn't help.

Same! They have had over $2,000 of mine for nearly 3 months. Shipped November 15th and for weeks they claim it's lost. Awful experience. Still out $2,357 and no one ever gets back to me despite promises that they will. They will NEVER get my business again.

Awful company, I had the same thought that they are going under. Never seen so many lies from a company. I just posted a 1 star review. They charge top dollar and lie about delivery dates. Also ordered a rug that never arrived, luckily I was refunded for that. I'm still waiting for a bench that I ordered in January, it's almost April :(
